The Castle Creek Power Plant is a beautiful historic building that represents the historical nature of the mining days in Aspen of old.  This facilty, which now houses dump trucks and road graders for the City Streets Department, formerly supplied all of the power to the early 1900's mining town of Aspen.  The exterior remodel was complete in 2007 and featured:

• New roof
• Repointing of historic bricks
• New retaining wall to protect the building
• Rebuilding of historic doors and windows
• New landscaping
